2044-45: Catastrophic climate event on Earth. Near-complete ecosystem collapse.

2106: The first CPN Alcubierre-drive test ends in disaster. The term “Alcubierre-Interference” is coined by CPN researchers.
2110: Official start of “Cold War 2”.
2110-2122: “Blackout Period”, little-to-no verifiable historical information.
2122: “Alcubierre-Interference” source successfully triangulated in the Kuiper Belt.
2123: CHARON GATEWAY discovered.
2124: CHARON GATEWAY is reactivated via exceedingly rare CA-CPN joint effort. BORDERWORLD discovered. Both sides prepare for colonization efforts.
2125-2130: “First Wave”: [Borderworld] Gateway Sector partitioned and colonized.
2131-2151: “Second Wave”: [Borderworld] Hawking Belt, Kepler Belt charted. Romulan Sector, Olympian Sector colonized. Start of mass deportations from Earth.
2152-2166: “Third Wave”: Borderworld frontier areas charted. Mass deportations extend to Solar System. Borderworld population reaches 200 billion (incl. est. 50 billion deportees).
2165: Blake Masters promoted to Office Manager position.
2166: CHARON GATEWAY fails during a regular transit cycle. Hundreds of vessels are lost. All communications between the Borderworld and Solar System are cut off.
Period: The Fall (2166-2170)
2166: Colonial administrations formally declare war upon one another. The conflict rapidly spreads across all sectors.
2166-2171: “Colonial Wars” period.
2167 Q1: Interstellar Data Exchange [IDE] systems fail. Borderworld star systems are cut off from one another. Admiral Severin [CPN] attempts to break through the Central Axis blockade of the Erebus Megaforges, with disastrous results. 4th Confederate Fleet destroyed.
2167 Q3: Wals-Brunel Industries corporate leadership suffers sudden, violent death. Surviving employees sign the Syndicate Founding Charta. The Brunel Sydicate begins to operate on Acheron Prime, a ruined ecumenopolis world.
2168: Frontier systems declared “unsustainable”. Est. 5 billion people across dozens of worlds are cut off from central administrations and supply chains.
2169: CND Amerigo crashlands on Bellona Prime [Bellona system]. Admiral Sarah Benoit deserts the Confederate Navy with most of the crew following suit.
2170: Blake Masters defeats the warlords of Atalanta Prime, establishes city state.
Period: Post-Fall (2171-2365)
2172-05-??: Founding of the “Fourth Republic” declared on Amaru Prime [Amaru system].
2174-05-15: All contact lost with Erebus Megaforges. Reports emerge of the facility’s automated systems turning against human personnel. No documented on-site survivors.
2176-11-02: Unknown enemy force invades Atalanta Prime in pursuit of a Central Axis facility housing Project Biosteel.
2176-11-29: Blake Masters sacrifices himself, rendering Project Biosteel inert. The invasion is repelled at the cost of 1.2-1.5 million casualties. Atalanta system renamed to Yggdrasil. Surviving military leadership founds the Fists of Blake; a military branch specialized in planetary defense.
2176-11-29: Fourth Republic assumes control of the entire Amaru system.
2180-02-10: Engineering crews revive the prototype biomod suite transported by the CND Amerigo. Admiral Sarah Benoit provides her DNA as its production basis.
2181-06-01: Erebus Megaforges comms channels revive, broadcasting warnings against trespassing to the megaforge complex and surrounding sub-zones. Broadcasts are signed by “Project Nara Zero”.
2184-10-10: Fourth Republic present in the majority of Empyrean Sector systems.
2185-11-29: Acheron Exodus – Brunel Syndicate forced to evacuate Acheron Prime following a cascading failure of planetary life support facilities. Brunel Syndicate base of operations transferred to the SFC Daedalus: a capsized corporate dreadnought within sub-FTL range.
2188-01-??: Contact lost with Fourth Republic frontier systems: Cotopaxi, Madeira, Rhea, Hatun. Dispatched expedition fleets disappear without a trace.
2188-03-29: Fourth Republic 3rd Warfleet arrives in the Madeira system, and is engaged by an unknown enemy fleet [57% match rate for Central Axis 17th Armada]. Post-battle analysis suggests 80-100% of fleet personnel composed of human clones. 1st and 2nd Warfleets dispatched to Hatun and Cotopaxi systems.
2188-04-20: Contact lost with 2nd Warfleet shortly after its arrival to the Cotopaxi system.
2188-04-28: 1st Warfleet arrives in the Hatun system, and is engaged by an unknown enemy fleet corresponding to previous encounters [62% match rate for Central Axis 5th Armada].
2188-05-05: Unknown enemy fleets assault Acai, Xingu, Andara, Wayra, Yara, Ayni, Tupaq systems. Planetary invasions reported across all inhabited worlds by armies composed entirely of human clones. 1st and 3rd Warfleets recalled from the frontier systems.
